Austin-Swinerton has implemented a formal process for trade partners interested in the SMF Concourse B Expansion & Terminal Improvements Projects. Below, you’ll find an overview of the bid process, upcoming opportunities and events, as well as the mandatory requirements for a successful bid submission.

To be considered for prequalification with Austin‑Swinerton, contractors must agree to comply with the Community Workforce Training Agreement (CWTA).

Bidder Requirements

Sign up for BuildingConnected

Austin-Swinerton has partnered with BuildingConnected for subcontractor solicitation. Trade partners are REQUIRED to sign up in order to receive bid invitations from Austin-Swinerton. Once you create your profile within BuildingConnected, you will be ready to bid all future opportunities with Austin-Swinerton.

Complete Prequalification Application

Prequalification is part of our risk management program to ensure we are working with stable, reliable companies who are capable of completing the work. Trade Partners are REQUIRED to annually update a Prequalification Application through our website in order to be considered for award. Items required may include current audited financials, surety confirmation of per project and aggregate bonding limits, and a bank letter of reference.

  • Go to Prequalification Page
  • Approved applications are active for fifteen (15) months following your most recent fiscal year end. You do not need to resubmit for each project unless specifically required by the project.
